Ants Climbing a Tree 蚂蚁上树

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 lb minced beef or pork

  • 2 bundles vermicelli noodles

  • 1 cup chicken stock

  • 1 tbsp minced ginger

  • 2 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp doubanjiang

  • 1 tsp shaoxing rice wine

  • ½ tsp light soy sauce

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 stalk chopped green onion

  • 2 chopped fresh chili

Instructions:

  1. Prepare ingredients - soak vermicelli in warm water, mince ginger and garlic, chop green onion and chili

  2. Cook - in a pan, add oil, then fry ginger and garlic until fragrant, add doubanjiang, add minced meat and cook

  3. Add other liquids - add shaoxing rice wine, light soy sauce, then add chicken stock and sugar

  4. Add noodles - add in vermicelli noodles, when liquid is mostly absorbed, and chopped fresh chili

  5. Serve it up - garnish with some chopped green onions, optionally eat with rice

  6. Enjoy!
