Fall-Off-The-Bone St. Louis Style Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 1 rack ribs

  • 1 lemon - this is the special ingredient!

  • 1/4 cup dry rub (see below for homemade recipe)

  • 1/2 cup barbeque sauce (I used Stubb's Original Bar-B-Q Sauce)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare ribs - preheat oven to 300 F, peel off membrane from the back of the ribs (use knife and paper towel), rub the ribs with lemon juice, then rub ribs with dry rub

  2. Bake - place meat side down (bone side up) in foil and completely cover, then bake in oven for 2.5 hours

  3. Add BBQ sauce - take out from oven, remove excess liquid then brush BBQ sauce all over the ribs

  4. Broil - set oven to broil, then place ribs back in oven, uncovered, 5 minutes per side

  5. Serve it up - serve with some potatoes or veggies (I like corn on the cob!)

  6. Enjoy!
