Pan Fried Ginger Leek Pork Belly 豚バラ生姜焼き

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb sliced pork belly

  • 1 stalk leek or negi

  • 1 tbsp grated ginger

  • 3 tbsp sake (for sauce)

  • 3 tbsp mirin (for sauce)

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (for sauce)

  • 1 tsp sugar (for sauce)

  • 1 cup cabbage (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare ingredients - finely chop leek or negi, grate ginger, slice or cut cabbage into thin slices

  2. Prepare sauce - combine all sauce ingredients

  3. Cook pork belly - in pan, cook pork belly and add sauce ingredients, then add ginger and chopped leek or negi

  4. Serve it up - plate pork belly and pour sauce on top, serve with sliced cabbage on side

  5. Enjoy!
