Pan Fried Ginger Leek Pork Belly 豚バラ生姜焼き
Ingredients:
1/2 lb sliced pork belly
1 stalk leek or negi
1 tbsp grated ginger
3 tbsp sake (for sauce)
3 tbsp mirin (for sauce)
2 tbsp soy sauce (for sauce)
1 tsp sugar (for sauce)
1 cup cabbage (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare ingredients - finely chop leek or negi, grate ginger, slice or cut cabbage into thin slices
Prepare sauce - combine all sauce ingredients
Cook pork belly - in pan, cook pork belly and add sauce ingredients, then add ginger and chopped leek or negi
Serve it up - plate pork belly and pour sauce on top, serve with sliced cabbage on side
