Ingredients:
1/2 lb liver (pork or chicken)
1/2 lb bean sprouts
1 bundle garlic chives
4 garlic cloves
1 tbsp ginger juice / grated ginger (for marinade)
1 tbsp sake (for marinade)
1 tbsp soy sauce (for marinade)
1 tbsp sake (for sauce)
1 tbsp soy sauce (for sauce)
1/2 tbsp oyster sauce (for sauce)
1 tsp sugar (for sauce)
1/2 tsp potato starch / corn starch (for sauce)
black pepper (for sauce)
1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions:
Prepare ingredients - rinse/soak liver for 5-10 minutes, cut garlic chives into 2-inch pieces, grate ginger, slice garlic cloves into thick slices
Marinate liver - combine marinade ingredients, rinse liver and marinate for 10 minutes, then lightly coat in potato starch / corn starch
Cook - in a pan, add sesame oil, cook liver until cooked through (flip halfway through), remove to separate plate, then add oil to pan, cook bean sprouts for a few minutes, add liver back in, add garlic chives then add all sauce ingredients
Serve it up - take it off the pan and plate it up
